Choroi Mallet

Different mallet are used depending on the instrument and desired sound. Felt is for aluminum and low pitched wood to produce the softest tone. Soft rubber for aluminum and low pitched wood to produce a slightly stronger tone than with a felt mallet.

Hard rubber one is used for brass and high pitched wood to produce a slightly stronger tone than with a leather mallet. Leather is for brass and high pitched wood to produce a slightly milder tone than hard rubber. Wood for brass and high pitched wood produces a succinct, strong tone.
